    HERA offers workshops to provide legal information to the public, including how to keep your home and avoid foreclosure. They foreclosure prevention services for individuals with low and moderate incomes.

    Offers a lookup tool to help find legal aid offices, lawyer referral services, and other free and low-cost services in your county. 

  • County Law Library

    Law librarians offer legal resources for people who don't have a lawyer. Librarians can recommend legal self-help books. Many libraries also offer free self-help programs. You can also ask a law librarian a question in Live Chat.

  • Center for California Homeowner Association Law (CCHAL)
    CCHAL is a housing and consumer advocate group. The webpage provides some basic information on homeowner association. Access to some information requires subscription (free of charge) and other information requires subscription and contributions.
