PC 290 registration relief (sex offender registration)
Since 2021, California has had a tiered system for sex offender registration (Penal Code section 290 registrants). Depending on what tier you are in and how long you've registered, you may be able to ask (petition) the court to end your duty to register.

Pardon from the Governor
The California Constitution gives the Governor the right to pardon someone convicted of a crime in California. A pardon can restore some, but not all, rights lost due to a conviction. It does not erase or seal a record. California Constitution, Article 5, §8.
Pardons are very rare and given out in exceptional circumstances.
If you win your small claims case
If the judge ordered the other side to pay you, the other side has 30 days to challenge the judge's decision. If they don't, they are supposed to pay you right away.
If they don't pay you right away, they must send you information about what they own, where they work, and where they bank. You can use this information to try to collect the money

You have 30 days from when you were handed or mailed the Notice of Entry of Judgment (form SC-130) or Notice of Entry of Judgment (form SC-200) to decide what you want to do.
